53 Gun Giveaway for 2024 Plus 12 Guns of Christmas
The Sergeant Greg Meagher Memorial 52-gun Raffle began as a way to raise funds in memory of the late Greg Meagher to assist Georgia Law Enforcement Officers through the mental traumas that are dealt with on the job. These funds were largely used to fund the Post Critical Incident Seminars in Georgia and started as a gun a week raffle, hence where the 52 came from. But once the state of Georgia created the Georgia Office of Public Safety Support and funded the program to include the PCIS, the raffle was not needed and was graciously handed off to us with the support of the Meagher family. Now once it became a part of Support 1 (located in SC), we had to comply with SC Law on how it was ran. We opted to continue this legacy and make it as big as Greg was to his family and friends. 52 is now 65! And starting this year (2024), the raffle sales will take place starting in March until sold out. And the drawings will start on Monday of Police Week and end with the 12 Guns of Christmas. Every ticket is $99 and is eligible for every gun, even if you win one … they go back in! Feeling superstitious, make sure to watch our social media platforms for the one day each year where we are available in public to get your lucky number(s).
